Reminder: Friday School Days for the 2026-2027 School Year

MWISD Parents,

We are off to a fantastic start to the 2026-2027 school year at Mineral Wells ISD! Thank you for helping make our first week such a success.

As a reminder, although we operate on a four-day school week, there are a few Friday school days built into the calendar this year. Students will attend school on the following Fridays:

August 7
August 14
August 21
August 28
September 11
January 22

These are regular instructional days for all students. You can always view the complete district calendar on our website for these and other important dates throughout the school year.
We can't wait to finish our first week of learning strong and continue what promises to be an amazing year!
