Mineral Wells Independent School District is committed to investing in the health and well-being of one of its greatest assets—its employees.  As part of this commitment, the district offers health insurance and other benefits to our employees and their families so that they are empowered to live healthy, balanced and fulfilling lives.

Voluntary Benefits

Mineral Wells ISD also offers many voluntary benefits, such as, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, etc.  Voluntary benefits are managed through First Financial Group of America (FFGA).  A list of voluntary benefits offered through FFGA as well as benefit summaries, claim forms, administrative forms, customer service numbers, provider directories and direct links to the insurance carriers is linked below.

General Information

As a reminder, Mineral Wells ISD's open enrollment period to enroll in and make changes to your 2023-24 benefits ends August 18, 2023. If you are a new employee or need to update or change your enrollment due to a qualifying event such as a marriage, birth, death, change in employee status for you, your spouse or dependents, please contact the Mineral Wells ISD Benefits Specialist, Kay Hall, (see contact information below) or Lee Hayes (see contact information above) to learn how to enroll in or change your benefits.  All new hire enrollments or enrollment changes must be completed within 31 days of your hire date or a qualifying event.
