Mineral Wells ISD offers a universal prekindergarten program for all 4-year-olds in our community. If your child turns 4 on or before September 1, they are eligible to attend Pre-K for the 2025–2026 school year.

We believe early education builds the foundation for school success—helping children learn the alphabet, develop social skills, and get a head start in literacy and learning.

✅ Who Qualifies?
All children may attend, but priority is given to students who meet state criteria (such as being an English language learner or qualifying for free/reduced lunch). After that, all families are welcome, regardless of income.

📝 What to Bring

• Birth certificate
• Immunization record
• Proof of residency
• Parent/guardian ID
• Proof of income (if applying for eligibility-based enrollment)
• Social Security card (requested)

💉 Immunizations
Students must be up to date or have valid exemption forms.
