Returning Student Enrollment – 2026–2027 School Year

Enrollment for all new and returning students for the 2026–2027 school year opens May 4, 2026.

For returning students, parents and guardians must complete the online enrollment verification through Skyward Family Access. This step is essential to ensure your student’s information is accurate and up to date for the upcoming school year.  For new to district students, plese visit the New Student Registration online form.  If you are a transfer student please fill out the MWISD Out of District Transfer Form.

 

How to Complete Enrollment Verification:

  1. Log in to Skyward Family Access using your User ID and Password.
    (Forgot your login? Click “Forgot your Login/Password?” on the sign-in page.)
  2. Once logged in, select “Returning Student Fall” from the menu on the left.
  3. Follow the prompts to review and update your student’s information.

Important:
Enrollment verification must be completed by the parent or guardian listed as Guardian 1 in Skyward.

Frequently Asked Questions about Student Registration

  • The primary family is listed on the student’s enrollment record. Only students who were enrolled in Mineral Wells ISD at the end of the last school year (2024-25).

  • Your MWISD Family Access login is all that is needed to complete the forms.

  •  An email will be sent to the email account on file with MWISD. There is a “Forgot password” link on the login screen if you cannot remember your password.

    1.  Go to your child’s campus and provide a valid email address.
    2. Download the Skyward app to your device.
    3. Select the Family Access module.
    4. Email notifications from Skyward can be set up through the desktop version of Family Access. 

  • Online registration is easy to complete, and we encourage all parents to utilize this feature.

  • No, there is a “Save and Finish Later” button, should you need to step away and come back to it later.

  • You should be able to complete the entire process within 15 minutes.

  • Yes, you must go through the process with each child.

  • You can contact your child’s campus beginning Monday, July 28, 2025.
