MWHS Track Temporarily Closed for Improvements

Mineral Wells ISD would like to inform students, families, and community members that the Mineral Wells High School track will be temporarily closed through November 30, 2026, to allow for grass seeding and track resurfacing.
During this time, the track and surrounding areas will be closed to the public to allow the improvements to be completed and the newly seeded grass to become established.

For those who enjoy using the soccer fields, the soccer goals have been relocated to the football practice field on the north side of the field house. This area will be available for community use after school hours.
Mineral Wells ISD appreciates the community's patience and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve our athletic facilities for students and community members.

Thank you for your understanding!
