The Mineral Wells ISD transition program, "The Summit," caters to Special Education students aged 18-22. Our program is dedicated to honing crucial life skills, fostering social proficiency, engaging in community-based learning, and navigating various resources within our community. Our aim is to empower students to achieve newfound independence, whether it's mastering daily meal preparation, confidently placing orders at restaurants, or embarking on their journey in the workforce. Our students will actively volunteer at local companies in Mineral Wells and Weatherford, gaining valuable work experiences that contribute to their personal and professional growth.
