MWISD School Closure for January 9, 2025

Dear Parents and Guardians, 

As we continue to monitor the weather forecast, many factors make it difficult to make a decision with certainty. However, due to anticipated severe weather conditions, Mineral Wells ISD will be closed for tomorrow January 9, 2025. Our primary concern is the safety of our students and staff, particularly as the worst of the weather is expected to coincide with bus route times. 

Out of an abundance of caution, we believe this decision is in the best interest of everyone involved. We anticipate conditions improving over the next few days, allowing school to resume its regular schedule on Monday, January 13, 2025.
